For the gift of family
You gave so dearly
Joy and charity I learned quickly
Thank you, Oh my God!

For giving me friends
Which for me are great finds
Genuine goodness, I easily can send
Thank you, Oh my God!

For having to put people in my care
Lets me brush away my scare
Patience and kindness I gladly can share
Thank you, Oh my God!

For letting me undergo that great fall
Made me renew my faith to all
And bravely come back and stand tall
Thank you, Oh my God!

For whatever and however
I live my life ever
You will forever be nearer
Because You are my Father
For these, Oh my God, I thank you!
